Hey - I'm is Catriona Barry from the trakAxPC team. (As below - we have a policy here of never rating our own product, but it is a necessary component of posting a comment here.)
Just to clarify the point below - you can export your mixes as WAV/AVI at different compressions depending on your needs.

First, it looks like a shareware and a future payware. I don't believe this soft will be free forever. Then I don't use it to avoid deception.
Good? Not for me: I tried during 1 hour: not very interresting, heavy, bad GUI.
The last comments are just too positive and short to be correct. The dev himself?
Not bad but not good.

"As good as it gets"
This is a lovely product and beats everything else out there, as far as I'm concerned.
It, in fact, turns the user into a movie production company. It works flawlessly and seems incredibly stable.
Indeed, the only thing I found wrong with it, is for some insane reason the install doesn't generate its own desktop icon, which is bad enough.
But then when you go into programs folder looking for the application, you can't find it, because it's not named "trakAx" it's named "highandes" a name you're not informed of anywhere on the website on in the install.

"Still excellent"
I don't know what that guy's problem is but I've been extensively using this programme since I downloaded it and it's quite excellent, easy to use and very versatile. In comparison, Reaper consistently caused my PC to totally crash. Keep up the good work.

I would like to refute a few untrue points made by Bloch. TrakAxPC uses a standard Windows installer - the same used in any commercially available Windows product.
trakAxPC will in no way interfere with any of your computer's drivers and to date, with thousands of users, we have had no reported instances of corrupted files.
