"Re: chapter choosing"
Perhaps people should use their eyes and find the "Browse" menu, before complaining? ^^ by: MuldeR | 5 | 2008-12-11 |

"chapter choosing."
i was pleased with MPlayer when i wanted to watch a DVD movie and i had no problems, but when i tried to watch a tv series i couldnt go to the menu and choose an episode... AND it only played the first one and i couldn't get to the others.
NOT cool. and no other free player other than VLC, which freezes up, allows you to access the DVD menu.
perhaps MPlayer should update the software?? by: hayy | 3 | 2008-12-07 |

"Good for playing TRP files"
Digital TV recordings are saved on USB hard disk as .trp files. Before I tried MPlayer, I was using KMPlayer, which is a Korean build freeware, but it does at non-responsive snail pace. After trying MPlayer, alas, MPlayer runs with no fuss. However, .trp file format is not on the standard file list of MPlayer. You can easily turn around by setting file filter to *.* and select the trp file you want to play. Superb !!! by: Henry | 5 | 2008-11-25 |

"M Player vista fix"
Using MPlayer in Vista will switch out of Aero to 16 bit. To fix this Start application, go to Tools -> Options, copy/paste
-dr -vo gl:glfinish
into Additional MPlayer parameters line, click Save, OK, close MPUI by: Enlightened | 5 | 2008-10-28 |

"Excellent Media Player"
This has now replaced Media Player Classic as my media player. One advantage for me is that it supports .rec files (Topfield PVR recordings). Huge number of files supported. I've been an ardent fan of MPC for years, but I confess to preferring this almost immediately. by: POCUK | 5 | 2008-10-22 |

"mega"
a program easy for beginners with plenty of toys for the seniors. vlc was a good as it played anything, but suffered with an awful interface that looked like a 4yr old designed it. mplayer has it all and looks the part. glad to see it plays flash as well. only slight niggle would be the volume is always at full when you open it and dosent retain, previous level, although you might be able to solve this with a few option tweaks. that aside its a banging product guys. well done. by: stuart | 5 | 2008-10-11 |

"simple and best"
I could play all formats in a single interface. light program ...
but I have 1 problem.
sometimes while playing few files(I found 2 files in VCD format), it shows error after pressing "play" again, it resumes play but windows media player does not show error. by: hs_ak | 5 | 2008-10-09 |

I can't install it. New version can't delete mplayer.exe from previous version even if previous version was uninstalled from comp. by: | 1 | 2008-09-25 |
