"18 MB for a GUI!" I downloaded the GUI only from SourceForge and after extracting the 7zip I was surprised with the size of this. Combined with the latest Mplayer and codecs it's like 30-40 MB! MPUI was so much better... It has its faults but don't forget latest version was only a preview. And all for just a little over 300 KB. Pitty the project has stalled... by: tekla	3	2008-02-13

"Forget VLC !!!" This player is the best ever!!! I will not use VLC again! SMPlayer has everything and is better in playing the files than VLC!!! If you jump within a WMV file, the picture stays clean. Within VLC you often see smudged pictures for a few seconds after you jumped within the playback. SMPlayer comes with all needed codecs and has a really nice interface. VLC is ugly and clumsy to handle!!! by: Coby	5	2008-01-01
