"One of many useful tools!"

Another contributer said 'try something else'. No program is perfect in this regard and keeping more than one on your machine is simple common sense. It does not speak to the relative value of any one application. Even top-of-the-line commercial programs like Norton Systemworks miss a lot of invalid keys.

BTW, did you reverse the order in which you ran Regseeker and this prog? You might find the results to be of interest.

"Eusing Free Registry Cleaner"

This worked on my computer. although i am not 100% sure i trust it compared to commerical products like Winaso regoptimiser and registry mechanic. It finds alot of registry problems and when you click repair registry it removes them all. but when i go to scan it again later after a reboot it still brings up the same problems.

"Woo Hoo Version 1.1 Finally Released!"

Eusing Free Registry Cleaner is a great tool for scanning and then cleaning out 'everyday' dead registry entries. I'm happy to see that this program was upgraded to version 1.1… I have actually used the earlier version of the program (Eusing Free Registry Cleaner 1.0) for several months now and it has never caused any problems at all.

Additionally, the computer that I use to 'test new freeware' has literally hundreds of programs installed on two large hard drives; so if there was any problem or any compatibility conflicts which were actually caused by the Eusing Registry Cleaner, I surely would have noticed it by now.

Users can choose to scan the entire registry or only selected sections. Before the program deletes any keys, it automatically creates a backup of the registry and allows you to easily undo any changes if needed. By default; this program creates a backup each time you use it and has a button labeled: "Restore Previous Registry" just in case you want to restore the previous backup.

Although I have used this program for several months now (version 1.0, that is) and it has never caused any problems at all; my feelings about 'registry cleaners' in general are that they should always be used with great caution - but especially when used by 'beginners.'

Additionally, whenever I use these types of utilities (and in particular, when I'm first trying them out); I always Create a System Restore Point - just in case something goes wrong during or after using the program.

This will allow me to return my computer settings to the state your PC was in - prior to making the changes. It takes like 30 seconds to perform a System Restore Point and can save you many hours of headaches and frustration; should something unforeseen go terribly wrong.

Sincerely, Dr. Cantstanzno Crapware

"This is my Companion Registry Cleaner"

This is one of the six registry cleaners I spent months evaluating. It is now permanently on my computer as a check for my other utility programs. After a scan, I keep only the "unused file extensions" and "fonts". I delete everything else. My computer (windows Me) is in excellent form. I am well pleased. Standing alone, I do give it a solid 5.

"Superb"

Forget the negative reviews. If you want a very fast, efficient registry cleaner, this is the one. Very user friendly, and very effective. Speeded my system up beautifully. Hard to believe it's free. Top notch.
