"It works o.k. but..."
This works o.k. but it has to be installed,which I don't like for a program that will only be used occasionally. I'm sticking with Delete Doctor,no need to install,just run it when you need it and works every time I've needed to delete a locked file.

I have been so frustrated by Win XP locking files up so that I can't delete them. It tells me that they are in use, but as far as I can tell it seems like they aren't. Really annoying. Finally I had Unlocker recommended to me. It is brilliant. Whenever I have a problem with a locked file, it automatically throws up a window that offers to unlock the locked file or files. With a click of a mouse I am in business. The best piece of freeware I have installed in ages.

The best program of it's kind thanks Cedric!Works on Vista but you have to turn the UAC off.Got rid of a few files and folders that would not delete,but Unlocker deleted them no problem.
