Use RAM IDLE LE if you are using Windows XP or don't use anything at all. FreeRam XP will screw up Webroot Spysweeper, Rambooster 2 won't perform like Ram Idle, and this garbage is just not worth it. Trust me, I've tried them all and with 192mb RAM, Ram Idle Le works the BEST and will impress you.

why such as mixed bag of reviews...? So I tried it anyway.... and my xp pro laptop was perhaps 10x slower to respond than expected... at least that is having first tested it on resuming from sleep mode. Uninstalled it immediately after a long wait for it to shut down and restart.

I enjoy having this right there in my tray. If I am going slow just point and see it my RAM is full, if so just right click. And FREE at that? YES FREE!!!

I have XP Pro with 1GB and Fast defrag sitting in the background (so I can see how much memory is free). It always frees up from 50 to 100+ MB! Just the "safe" feature takes extremly long...

i have downloaded a number of memory optimizers only to find that most of them either didn't do anything, or made things worth. Not so with this memory optimizer. I was truly amazed at how well Fast Defrag works. Would recommend it to everyone.

Uses little memory itself, sits in the system tray where a right click instigates the process of freeing memory. More effective than RamBooster or OptimizeMemory.
