I installed Mz Cpu Acceleator v1.1 about 6 hors ago, and i have had no problems with .NET Framework crashing. BTW, DO NOT install Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5 Beta 1 as it is very unstable! Good old MS! Mz CPU Accelerator v1.1 has been very stable with no hint of any instability. I've re-started the utility several times without any problems. I'm running an AMD 1400MHz chip; 768MB RAM; a 200GB HDD that's about 35% full, and XP Pro. I definitely see an improved loading of files and programs. I'm also seeing a speed up of Internet page loads (DSL), although that could be attributed to time-of-day Net conditions. Hey, so even if it only speeds up non-Internet loading and processing, it's worth the time and install and it's free! by: farpointstation | 5 | 2007-05-27 | | | | "Too Unstable to Be Useful..."
Well, Mz CPU Accelerator -- when it works -- seems to work well. However, often, Mz CPU Accelerator doesn't work at all due to problems that it has with dot.NET 2.0. My experience with Mz CPU Accelerator was very mixed at best. When the utility was running, my programs did indeed seem to run just a little faster. However, invariably, after 10 to 15 minutes of operation, dot.NET 2.0 would report a problem with Mz CPU Accelerator, effectively disabling the utility entirely. So, until Mz CPU Accelerator can be debugged to the point where it runs more reliably, I suggest that you skip downloading it and wait for some "post 1.0" version. Maybe a later version will run better. Fingers crossed. by: CharlieOrlando | 2 | 2007-05-18 | | | | "Good"
I think this is a good application. by: cEpTrOn | 4 | 2007-05-15 | | | |
