My computer was running very unstable,
so i put this program on it along with
the registry de frag, and it fixed me
right up!!! Wonderful,Super, I highly
recommend. I use it on all my home computers now.

This download is workin but the reported version number by Freewarefiles isn't correct, this isn't v. 1.5.23.435 but v. 1.5.23.350 this is the reason why now works !

"Doesn't work!!!!!"
I have alredy downloaded and tested this new version but it doesn't work on my Windows 2K SP4 Update 1. I Suggest freefiles.com instead representing bad software twice or more to sent a notice to the supplier in order to fix any existing bug, this is the best way to share valid freeware applications.

This new version doesn't work under my Windows 2k SP4 Update 1, software chashes..
I was obliged going back to my pevious version 1.5.70.335 that works fine.

"Unreliable"
I use "O&O Defrag" but wanted to give Auslogics a try. I defragged system disk and result mentioned 0 files fragmented. Then I asked "O&O Defrag" to analyze the disk, and the result was 50+ files fragmented. O&O is a top-notch sofware company. Conclusion?

"auslogics disk defrag"
i been using this program for awhile now and does what it says.At one time i was getting a report after defrag was done saying i had so many junk files.I solved this problem by using atomic cleaner, it removes your junk files.Now after i run program no more junk files.When you execute a program the exe data is stored and even any dll's like run32.dll.Regular cleaners don't clean these leaving it as junk files on your computer.So atomic cleaner cleans deeper only the junk files.I like auslogics defrag, it's fast and computer runs better after defrag.Didn't mean to get off topic with atomic cleaner here but saw someone post something about junk files after running auslogics defrag.People need to do research i guess to understand what is happening.Google is your best friend, use it.

This worked perfect for me. The last reviewer just didn't know how to use it right. This is great!!! And does in fact defrag your computer correctly. My drive is at 100% too. I have Norton System Doctor installed and it also has a disk optimization meter on it. and yes it works.

What "meter" is that then? Tell us all what this "meter" is,then we can all use it! Windoze will tell you how fragmented your drive is,you don't need a "meter". Also,Auslogics defrag reports "junk files" on your drive and wants you to buy their "optimisation program",whatever that is! I for one don't like "freeware" that's used to tout their other programs. If you're happy with Auslogics defrag,then continue to use it by all means,but don't think your drive's been defragmented properly,no matter what your "meter" tells you.

This is one of the best defraggers! Don't listen to the others. I have been using this since it first came out. I have a meter that shows me the percentage of fragmentation. I check it before I use this then right after. It allways goes right back up to 100% optimization after I use this. I have this installed on several computers too.

Google for the "Great Defrag Shootout" & you'll get an independent review as to the best defraggers,both free & paying,& Auslogics is not the winner,not even close,because it just doesn't defrag the disk properly.JK Defrag is by far the best free defrag program ever written,IMHO.

Still one of the best defraggers you can use, Windows own defragger is not better than this. And it's so FAST,only because it's defragging your drive properly, defragging doesn't take time, simple as that. Great!

JKDefrag is much smaller and portable and defragments properly and safely. I find no reason to use Auslogics Disk Defrag or recommend it to others.

"Close but no cigar"
Is good for everyday fast defrag. Run this and then analyze with Windows Defrag. You will see all the red is gone but all the white spaces are still there.
