I thought I would try the new incarnation from Microsoft, what a mistake. Once downloaded my system kept flashing up the connection window and freezing my system. I had to format and reload to get everything back to normal. No more beta testing for Microsoft for me.

Nice fast browser with no bugs. I love it. Good job microsoft. Ha in reading other reviews folks say they copied firefox. Now that is funny, why would anyone think microsoft would want their product to be a piece of sh!# like firefox.
This is faster and more stable than fox and dosent need to update bug upon bug like firefox and unlike fox not a recourse hog. Not even a comparison here to fox after all, all browsers have simular functions.

Anything is better than firefox or any mozilla trash. Opera would be my first choice of a non ie based browser but that isnt any better than this either. This version of IE isnt bad at all. It is as secure as none ie based browsers if you know how to set it up. You firefox fans raveing about how good mozilla is in these reviews are lost or know very little of internet browsers or how the security flaws work. Here with this you wont be playing with your many worthless bugy extensions or updating every week to get the same result. IE 7.0 beats mozilla. If its not cute enough give maxthon browser a try it has nice skins and full features.

My IE is about as unstable as my love life! Being a former Windows certified trainer, I am taken back by the lack of tech advancement. Try the FireFox way, LISTEN to the USERS! Customers DO know best. I will stick with my Firefox, and hope Mr Gates won't shed tears @ my decision.

"Anti-phish: Good; GUI: Bad"
The only thing this version has going for it is the anti-phishing stuff, and since it's IE, it can load the few sites out there that Firefox can't by default
Other than that, it sucks. The first thing I tried to do was get the menu bar back on top where it belongs...IE6 let me move the toolbars easily.
I was also expecting an automatic "Fit To Window Width" feature similar to Opera's. Why? Cuz I like my display @ 800x600, but webmasters are designing their sites for the 1204x768 crowd.
In short, I foolishly expected something better than Firefox. Guess I shoulda known better.

Whoever says that Microsoft copied from Mozilla's Firefox is a liar and this browser is better than a lot of people make it out to be. Microsoft, you've done a nice job in creating the new Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview. Keep up the good work!

Microsoft copied what i already had in Firefox for almost a year already. Microsoft has not innovated anything new for over 5 years already.They've ripped-off Apple's Ideas,and now copy mozilla. This is a repost,as i accidently gave MS a 5 when i did'nt mean to.MS gets a 1 on merrit that it's unoriginal.Firefox's browser gets a 10 on excellence,and innovation.Just to clear things up.

Microsoft has copied Mozilla Firefox's design and ideads. Once again they try to get to the top by crushing small companies, firefox is much better and more secure than this.And this is in it's BETA stages so get prepared for BUG HEAVEN...
