"Network Drives"

BTW, I dont know why people are thinking you cannot use this for network drives. It works fine for network drives on the LAN. Make sure you have the drives mapped in windows that you wish to appear in the drive selector within FreeCommander.

Sorry to have posted twice here, but I have seen more than one person say this cant do networked drive file management.

Thx again :)

"Excellent!"

Very much like the old Norton File Manager. I missed that utility after they dropped support for it. This brings functionality back to file management.

Thank You for the fine program.

"Great except for the network nwighbourhood"

I assume that the 2006 beta version will someday become the official one, where you can use the network as a drive... Till then I'm using other filemanager.

"Bonus"

Along with all of the great features this program has is, the ability to hide Folders, Sub Directory's or just a File. Just click on Attrib/Time Stamp, click Set Attributes and click on the Hidden Box to Hide Folder or File.
This has to be the best File Programs I have ever used.
Thank You, Marek Jasinski

"Better and better"

thank you, Marek, for outstanding software. In freeCommander 2005.09 all previous flavours are present and added - faster, stabler, more polished, russian and other localizations out of the box... Farewell, total commander! All one need for file management is freeCommander. really FREE! Marek, separate thanks for allowing people to choose to be more honest within this mess of shareware/crackware/serialware fiddle-faddle :-)
Keep going!

"Perfext!!!"

That's perfection: this program has almost all the features of a modern commander, like Total Commander, and it costs... nothing!!! I'd like a Linux version, if it was possible.

"Top Of The Heap!"

I've used this program for so long now that, when i format/reinstall, it has to be first cab off the rank to be reinstalled or i suffer withdrawals! Seriously tho', Windoze Explorer is lame in comparison, whilst other similar apps are either too fussy'n'frilly for my taste or don't meet my needs as well as freeCommander. My sincere appreciation to the author and many thanks for the updated version...cheers!
