Easy, free, includes startup manager to enable/disable startup items.
Cleanup is a snap, & is very safe, although it would be nice if the startup manager also included browser helper objects like Nirsoft's Startup Run does...
Registry problems? Untick the top 3 options.
Even though I don't use a reg cleaner often, the safest (but not free) one I have found so far appears to be CleanMyPC Registry Cleaner.
Overall, C-Cleaner is a handy and easy to use program that does a great job.

This program is simply the best and always gets better because you no the author always updates it with a new version.
The Cleaner utility does a better job than Disk Cleanup of the OS.
Like anything I recommend reading The Beginners Guide and leaving Advanced alone.
Personally myself I do not use the Registry utility but if you do a backup is always provided in case it messes up your computer.
The best part is that this program is totally FREE and deserves in my opinion
a rating of 5.

This cleanup utility absolutely ROCKS! Many things set it apart from others in this category, but the fact that you can program it to clean virtually anything you want on your PC is my favorite option. If you know what you are doing, you can edit 'winapp2.ini' file to clean almost any file(s) and/or registry entry you want cleaned. It will even clean things like IE's index.dat file at bootup, if you choose. It is capable of not only deleting files, but ERASING them beyond recovery. Best of all, it's totally FREE! Anyone rating this fantastic tool less than a '5' is either clue free or their their elevator doesn't go all the way to the penthouse! Thank you MrG ! ! !

I have ran Ccleaner and Tuneup Utilities 2008 1 click maintenance and they both find the same identical files to delete the only difference is Ccleaner is faster tuneup utilities has a nicer interface and a £30 price tag.I also like the fact that you can edit rename programs which you can't do from windows control panel.Overall i think Ccleaner is a must everyone should have this program installed.
