This thing will foul up your computer big time!After going through the installation,my machine kept trying to restart itself but couldnt.I had to boot into safe mode and uninstall this thing to get going again.Thank god for system restore ang reg backups if not I would have been SOL!Thanks for nothing Microsoft!

I tried this on a 10gb partition with xp home sp2 that originally came with my notebook. I would say it made it 20-30 percent faster than it was before. Cudos for Microsoft making xp run faster I wasn't expecting that.

This is great! Win XP is much faster now. I read all the reviews good and bad, and for me SP3 works. Install was a little slow and my pc start up time is about the same, but everything else is working better than before.

Final release: Q2 2008
This is useful for me as I treat it as a full download of SP2 (which I have trouble getting a copy of other than through Windows Update that just installed it) plus subsequent fixes that I've lost track of (as WU is not always well behaving on my machine).
All in all, good for restore back to orginal condition plus SP2 plus subsequent fixes.

If you download the file, you can only download it from the software author and from download.windowsupdate.com which is owned by Microsoft. So I think this is a legit download. Though still in Beta, it's probably the complete version waiting to be released next year.
