Ok, so it says up to 500% increases in some cases -- very hard to believe and your base settings must be way off to start with. Like any downloader , you have to adjust the settings according to you internet connection situation : amoungst other things , speed limit (MTU), cache size , number of simultaneous connections, etc. I wish Orbit had an "open" or "run" option so i wouldn't have to download the setup to computer and i wish it would make clear what the updates are ( i looked on webpage , i could not readily find them . Those aside, it's light weight and ultimate performance is very good. On this pc with 56k modem and all my settings already optimized, i'm seeing 75%+ increase after doing adjustments in "preferences"/ "limits" section

I like this downloader so far.. I like that it did indeed accelerate my downloads better than the several i have tried without making inane claims of something like up to 500% increases ( 6x, .hmmm)..it fluctuates , but i've seen about 60%+ increase on an analog modem that for this type already ran pretty fast

A good and free downloader. Very well done. I use and recommend it. It has no malware, adware or limitations. My kind of freeware. Thanks to the author, good job.
