"Duh..."
No, build 61 doesn't mean they fixed 61 bugs. They have corrected many more than that. Oh, noooo... That means it's rrrreally buggy, right? No, that's just how software development goes. You don't have to run a beta; there is always a final version available.
Regarding file size; could you make a lamer point? You don't have 7 MB available on your disk, if it gets you the most-powerful BitTorrent client in existence? Give me a break.
uTorrent is OK, yes--but it doesn't do 1/3 of what Azureus does. Don't get me wrong; uTorrent is great for a lot of people, but if you want all the client/server/tracker features, and a very wide range of configurability, you have only one choice: Azureus.
It's not "just a download manager". This isn't HTTP or FTP, dude; this is BitTorrent. Have a bit of perspective, why don't you? by: x | 4 | 2006-07-25 |

"Beta 61 ???"
Does that mean they fixed 61 faults? Whats a p2p client? It's a download manager. Nothing more.
And we know how small they can be.
So whats the 7 MB? Its fat and bloated. uTorrent is 170K and uses almost zero RAM. And does the job very well. enough said. by: alberteinstein | 3 | 2006-07-21 |

"BLOATED PIECE OF JUNK -- USE UTORRENT"
Azureus is a bloated piece of junk
which turns even a fast P4 into a drooling sloth.
It also requires another 110MB Java install before you can even use it.
Utorrent on the other hand is under 160K
(Thats less then half the size of Azureus's help file!)
NO INSTALL!.. Just click and run

"Torrent Porshe"
Azureus takes me only 45-50 MB, I always get max download with good torrents (130kB/s) and it is going along with my Firewall, which takes 2-10 MB. :) by: TheTOM.SK | 5 | 2006-03-04 |

"Get Clued"
It's true; Azureus does consume a lot of memory. It does not use much CPU time on my system, however.
If Azureus uses too much bandwidth, then CONFIGURE IT CORRECTLY! You have too many connections enabled. Try changing the settings on the Transfers tab under Options.
Azureus has all the features a serious BitTorrent user needs, and supports plugins, which the uTorrent author stupidly says he never will (code jealousy).
Azureus' UPnP support works well with my router, while some [COUGH] other clients do not work--at all.
Azureus excels in little things that the average idiot wouldn't notice. Trying to download a torrent that has a file with a character that is illegal under Windows? (Such as the / or character.) Most clients will simply refuse to download the torrent. Azureus will automatically change the unrecognized character, and download it without a problem. by: x | 5 | 2006-01-27 |

"Bandwidth."
I have suffered with this programme for several months now but cant live with it any longer. It seriously hoggs your bandwidth & renders my broadband connection as useless. You cant do anything else while its running. The only plus point is that its NOT powered by Adware & as far as I can see it has NO Spyware in it.Also you get constant requests for "donations" of cash.Personally I wouldn't bother with it again. by: Stevie | 1 | 2005-12-09 |

"its ok not so good"
This is good for only bittorents handling but download mp3 is hard to find, low result and bad speed connecting, give a try but you'll end up not liking it offers by: Terry | 3 | 2005-11-03 |
