"Unexpected"
Disappointed- Avant Shut down itself without warning, then reloaded itself in multiple tabs, and had to use windows task manager to shut it down.

"Why change?"
I've just installed 11.0 build 6, and am disappointed. I have been a big fan of Avant, but this new build doesn't display favorites on the left, and when I tried to jump to a category in FreewareFiles I got blocked, and couldn't even go back. I'm going to look for a bettre alternative!

Once again, I installed and tested Avant Browser and tested it alongside SlimBrowser. There is still not much comparison. SlimBrowser wins in virtually every category. Features, speed, looks (skins), pop-up blocking and recovery, etc. Try SlimBrowser. You will likely agree.

"Best IE Skin"
Version 11 is excellent. I would use it as my full time browser but it's just to bad that is IE based. That's the biggest flaw. Wish it was using the Gecko engine like firefox. :(

I've used Avant Browser for years, before switching from Internet Explorer to Firefox. I know the team, and those guys, believe me, are *really* not into anything else than clean, tight code. Avant Browser if the best you can possibly get out of the IE engine. If you want speed and tabs (but with less extensions than Maxthon ot Firefox) then choose Avant, The Browser.

"Changes Netzero Homepage"
I believe it has a degree of spyware to force it's ever growing ad supported exsistence upon unsuspecting users. Netzero's homepage will not come up as "page not found" once you install this browser. I suggest you use TABLANE. It is faster.

The best browser. I played with firefox, toyed with opera and maxthon, but this is the one, I'll keep it. Fastest and most stable I have seen yet. If you have been brainwashed into thinking firefox is good. Give this a try you will be amazed
