"winamp 5.34"
Winamp has hung in there through the years and now can provide a one stop geyser of entertainment both audio and video. The interface can expand to access a multitude of free audio & video streams, file formats and playlist sources while still maintaining the ability to go minimal. Winamp 5.34 is still much less of a commercial revenue whore than WMP but something tells me the new parent AOL is busy sending the resume out. If your used to Winamp, this is a good way to sample just how much 'content' is out there. For the lean and mean market there is a whole new crowd of great sounding minimalist offerings like AIMP that remain simple and clean.

"v- 5.34 beta"
Not sure what this "update" is -- the web site says nothing of it , that i saw. They're still pushing the v- 5.33 which has 2 beta features (dashboard and remote) in it. Anyway , it's customizable and very good quality, after one gets use to it (the 5.33, that is)

"Not The Best One"
Good player with some good features. Jet Audio Basic is by far the best player. Not as many skins or visuals but support for dvd, audiovideo file conversion and much more. Better yet get both like I did.

"It's the Best one"
This is the best audio playing application out there. It uses very few resources while open and rarely skips. You can also use it to listen to internet radio which is one of its best new features. I've used it for years after a friend introduced me to it. Media Player and RealPlayer don't have anything on this little monster.

While I believe this version of winamp is incredible. There is a new media player on the block. Songbird, (created by the mozilla foundation, now in RC 0.2) is bound to blow away all competition by setting new standards in quality and usefulness.
