Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS Platinum here.. iTunes 7 only played music from three speakers.. the left and right satellites did not play anything at all. Switched to Windows Media Player and sound comes from all five speakers.. Going back to version 6 now.

This application is the worst so far. I hope you don't like listening to your music while you do ANYTHING on your computer because if you do, DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR ITUNES. It doesn't play files correctly if there are any other applications up.

iTunes version 6.0.5 is just like the old version except that all windows users are no longer able to use the iTunes music store, pull song titles upon importing CD's, and can't update your pod casts. Enjoy

The application is ok, but both songs and music vidz @ iTMS are too pricey. 20 per item is an acceptable price IMO. Until this happens, buy your song downloads from Russia. There cheap and DRM-free. Forget unreliable P2P.

"Too many MBs"
This player is not much better or worse than its major competitors. The main feature that attracts users, especially without broadband internet connection and wish to download music, is its Mac appeal and extremely stylish design.
Cons are the heavy package and inclusion of Quick Time Player or codecs. I use a third party codec with Quick Time Alternative. Therefore I do not need Quick Time player or another pack of codecs, as well as the music store features.
A lighter version would be nice (compare with almost three times lighter WMP), without Quick Time and music store features.
An alternative for users of other players will be skinning option and loads of skins, including iTunes-themed.
