It's too bad there is no "zero" for this, I found it worse than worthless, it generated an entire folder full of 0-byte files. Then it told me to check a log file, which I never did find, even with a search thru the whole sub-tree. Bogus-ware--don't waste your time. by: gargoylebeast | 1 | 2007-02-13 |

"web dependant"
How do I use this new 0.5 version without being connected? the previous version wasn't at all web based.
Pretty dissapointing, I agree with a previous rating on this web page. by: Zorta | 1 | 2007-02-08 |

"The best"
The best and most reliable. Quite big but who cares when it does such a great job. Am mystifies as to why it needs a web server but dont think I am going to go into spasm's about it. by: Mike | 5 | 2007-01-02 |

"It also makes julians fries."
I was quite pleased with this software in the past (version 0.3.6). I downloaded and installed the newest version (0.5.1) and found that it now has an integrated web server. I'll say it again, A WEB SERVER! I simply do not understand why this software needs a web server.
If the developer is listening THERE IS NO REASON TO EMBED A WEB SERVER IN THIS PROGRAM. I don't care if it only listens to the localhost. Very extra service/port you open is an opportunity for exploitation. While this is open source software I do not have the time to pour over the many thousands of lines of code to relieve my paranoia.
Also, I am quite shocked that Firefox allowed the software's welcome webpage to open a program on my computer. Yes, Firefox allowed a HTML page to execute a local program. I am still deciding what I will do about this.
While I appreciate the authors' effort I simply CANNOT recommend this version of this software. You can download the old, server-free version 0.3.9 on the project's website.

"Too Big"
It's way too big and unwieldy. Requiring users to have FireFox to change settings? Since when did the Internet become totalitarian? Uninstall! by: Rich | 2 | 2006-12-11 |

"Amazing"
This is one of the best free things out of China. It's almost my default everything because it can double up as a media player for any type because of its many codecs...this is completely the very best.. by: The Nekryph | 5 | 2006-11-25 |

"This gits 'er done."
This program as a beta is a bit buggy sometimes but beyond that, works extremely quickly and efficiently at converting various types of audio and video. I reccomend it. by: Bek | 4 | 2006-09-06 |
