I'm sory to say that I'm disapointed with this program. Not only that it had not unlocked the file, it also created the process Unlocker.exe every time it failed to unlock, and I could not kill them.

Unlocker is great, and it does work. A word of warning, though: If you close DLL files handles that Explorer.exe has open, Explorer WILL crash--no two ways about it. Your system won't crash, just the shell, which should restart (though it doesn't always).

I used Gipo's Move-On-Boot for a year or so before I came across this program. Unlocker is the best in class, hands down. Highly recommended for anyone who spends any amount of time working with files in Windows Explorer.
