It backed up one test file, but then failed to function. It would run its sequence, but the backed up file never apeared. My system if working perfectly. Maybe the the freeware has limitation, don't know. Nice interface, simple functionality.

after reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling WinXP, I discovered the motherboard was fried. (I really didn't need to format that drive). My Back4winXP flawlessly, and easily, restored all of my data. I didn't lose a bit!
