I was really scared to do it at first, then thought " What the heck-computer can't get any worse". I backed up my files first then downloaded it- I even installed ALL the items that were listed. It's like having a new computer. Thanx a bunch !

man, i was nervous to try this because of all the warnings...my laptop is finicky, to say the least. but it worked beautifully for me. can't thank you enough for putting this thing together. just for reference, i'm using a dell latitude cpx, so here's at least one person on that system for whom the pack was successful. good luck everybody.

I had a lot of problems with this so called "update".
Copy all your files before you try it!
Maybe it works for you. To me it was a total failure.

After clean install of windows 98se then install of service pack 2.1a. and a small hardware problem I fixed. My 98se machine is running Very Good! I would recommend it!

My back up pc with the new install of 98se is doing great running well after the install of 2.1a. I do have a small problem wiih one cd-rom drive working it will not respond or like crash. I might be able to find a fix.
