If you want your HDD defragged PROPERLY,use JK Defrag,it's still the best defragger I've used. And there are several good GUI's for JK as well.

"Nice interface"
I like the interface of this defrag program. Much nicer than the standard built-in windows defrag tool. Also tells you the performance gain in percentage afterwords.

Not bad for daily use, but if you want a proper job of defragmenting your hard disk just use your windows OS Disk Defragmenter at least it does a half decent job even if it takes a while, or better still find another alternative.

"Fast and Reliable"
One of my favorite software. I am at a company with 40 computers that I manually update. I don't have the time that it takes for Windows defrag to do it's job, so I use Auslogics, which is much faster and just as good in my opinion.

This is the WORST defragmenter program from the 12s I have ever used.
Its alogarithm process is awful and dead.
Even its contigous defragmentation process is wrong^^

Now it has changed one marketing ploy for another; that is, its erroneous, deceitful proclamation of junk file count, distressing some users to avail themselves of their shareware --- the "cost" of freeware?, perhaps. But will that result in an improved, total defragger package?
Because it works, on one level, I give it a 3 but I run a defragger to do just that not make up bogus notices.

JKDefrag is the best free defragger, while "Auslogics Disk Defrag" isn't really good:
"the weakest point in the entire program is the defragmentation algorithm itself. It's not as good as the built-in Windows Defragmenter. Considering that Auslogics uses this freebie program to tout the virtues of its PC performance optimisation package, it only succeeded in making me extremely sceptical of the products they sell."
