According to Virus Bulletin latest test Avast has a better detection ratio than AVG:
Avast has malware on demand a ratio of 99.3% while AVG has only 95.8% and Avast has spyware-adware on demand a detection ratio of 98.3% while AVG has only 87.0%!!

I am registering for a 3rd year. This software is excellent. I have been bombarded by all kinds of virus, unsuccessfully, thanks to Avast. Used to have Norton; till the attack that caused my computer to crash and burn. Since then, Avast is the one and only! Keep up the good work and thanks for everything.
