I tried various antivirus programs, but Avast! is the only one that is not so demanding on system resources, it's fast, reliable, works in the background. The only time you really have to see it is when it finds a threat for your computer.

Download program P2P site scanned Avast results clean.Ran program "run as administrator Vista " P.C crashed.3 trojan/virus installed in windows system 32 folder.Avast + Windows Defender missed them "Hijackthis" online logscanner found them.(Deleted manually ).

Avast Home Edition is the best antivirus program I have ever used! I is so effective! I do not see how this can be put out there for everyone for free.but, download and use it and you will be so glad they did!
