ive had avast home edition 4.7 on my pc for a couple of weeks & it hasnt picked up any viruses.i re-installed avg 7.5 this morning & straight away it picked a trojan horse generic 3.nxb.from now on i'll be sticking with avg

"Bagle worm is too much for Avg..."
Avg is okay... but I was really surprised when I saw "Bagle" worm destroying it! In a few seconds, Avg stopped working and the worm prevented the antivirus from being reinstalled. I had to install a rootkit application to reinstall AVG again. From now on, I wont trust anymore in this antivirus... not like I used to.

Wow , so much confusion ... i have previous version of this new release{2-8-2007} and got first installment of this update on said date ( total new version will be downloaded/offered over 2 or 3 days using your update option on existing program -- i guess that's when i'll get the updated interface part of the update.. If you have an older version , AVG will "notify" you of the change /update via your existing update application.. { version 7.1 will be discontinued Feb. 18 2007 )
