Too buggy on Vista, computer froze,when i got it to run it could'nt remove delete or quarantine the adaware that it found.Best using AVG anti-spy free works fine on vista.

I "upgraded" to the "Pro" version from SE and you'd never believe the trouble it caused.

First of all this program DOES NOT kill spyware of any kind , it kills Adware and adware registry entries and adware moduals . adware is harmless but vary anoying wich makes this program overrated , Spyware Terminator is what you need if you wanna kill most common spybots .

Uses far too many resources and tries to take control away from the operator.
And on top of that I can't get rid of the piece of junk!
When I use it's own "uninstall" feature it stops half-way through the procedure saying a critical component is missing. It then reverses what it has done so far and shuts down.
It does this same thing over and over again even after downloading and installing the latest versions.

Previous version was better - this one offers just a nicer look, everything else is a down: consumes more RAM (even when it is not turned on) and always updates all engines even though some of them are not available in free version.
Use Spybot S&D and Spyware terminator instead.

As long as it has no realtime protection it will let all spyware inside your pc, then after you are suppose to clean them away with this tool :-( I will still say NO to this tool. It needs REALTIME protection.
