While this program continually gets easier, better, & more refined, the screenshot is desperately in need of updating.
The newer versions have a much sleeker & modern looking design, in addition to speed refinements, feature add-ons and bug fixes.

I've been using it from it's first release with some minor bugs, but that's no problem. You know the author always improve it.
One of the best thing of this software is it's FREE !!!, for another similar programs in high commercial price...
And it always updated to improve it's usability and stability, no charge for that too...
I think it's not too much if someone help the author with a little bucks

Tried many commercial fancy interfaced utility programs but they all do basically the same thing as what Ccleaner does when it comes to file cleaning.The beauty about Ccleaner is the constant program improvements and only a 2.61mb download.

"Safe to use on Vista"
Ccleaner cleans yor system in a very safe manner without the overkill of most commercial reg cleaners.I would not recommend any Reg cleaners for Vista except Ccleaner or Tunup Utilities 2008,only safe two.Try the others and you will either end up having to do a system restore or you will loose some system files anyone who has used other reg cleaners i recommend running the sfc/scannow command and check if you have any missing system files,you may be surprised.

I have tried many so called paid registry/file cleaners and the best free ccleaner (default settings).Never deletes anything that it should not.

Be careful with this software. I used it and if you're not very very careful on what you clean with it, it may trash your computer. I had to reformat and reinstall after one use.

Excellent freeware utility program. But visit the CCleaner website and get the version without the Toolbar.. Its only 657K. Much smaller than this one.. Who needs another toolbar?
