i'm currently using XnView 1.74 and it's far more better than ACDsee and the best part is, it's free. Not much system resource used and very stable compare to other similar softwares.

"very handy"
XnView has been in my 'free utils' folder for years. I still find it handy for batch conversion of images and the slideshow feature. It has improved over the years and although it now has increased competition I still find it's ease of use appealing.

"Very Fast"
This thing goes like a rocket; I have never seen pictures load so fast. Pictures load as fast as I can turn my mouse wheel. It doesn’t only just load picture files, it loads MP3 & Wave sound files too. And it is free! I give it six out of five.

I view hundreds of photo images daily on my computer.This program is as easy to use as Ulead`s PhotoExplorer ver.8 and as full featured as ACDsee ver.5.
A double click anywhere in the work area for file/open command would be a nice added feature. My regards to the software developer.
