This is like the best free download manager I've ever used so far. I've tried IDM(Internet Download Manager), DAP(Download Accelerator Plus), and many other programs... but this is a must have. I recommend it to everyone! Just be sure you know that this downloader allow you to control the TRAFFIC of download... they HEAVY MODE is of course the fastest! (",)

You should try using the Mozilla extension, Flashgot. I use it with Free Download Manager and it's extremely fast. Just search for Flashgot on FreewareFiles and give it a try.

It simply doesn't work. I downloaded Launchy just to use this Free Download Manager from Mozilla Firefox. But, no matter which browser I used, FDM didn't work. It claims to download in sections to speed the process, but instead just downloaded a small section of the file every time, and screwed up the file extention along the way, making every file unusable. Just a waste of space!

I personally use this download manager with Mozilla Firefox and it's works great. Downloads are faster, the scheduling options are perfect when you want to download software unattended, and the additional options such as the video preview are quite helpful in determining whether you want to download the file or not. This beats Download Accelerator (and any other download manager) hands down and does not include the spyware.
There is only one banner in the program, from FreewareFiles, but that's ok since I download software form this site daily. The download speed is not affected as it appears they only run one static banner that loads with the program. This is a must download for those with both fast and especially slow internet connections.
