"Good, but"
I used FDM for a while but I found this- http://tinyurl.com/gvr6j is better because of faster speeds, download resuming, and I have had no broken downloads. by: ` | 5 | 2006-08-12 |

"Get wise!"
No.1 The version I had outbounded to the net without asking. Just for this- deleted.
No2. Any app claiming 600% deserves to be passed by as idiotic hype. One MB broadband becomes 6 MB does it? yeah! And pigs might fly one day. by: alberteinstein | 2 | 2006-08-04 |

"No streaming downloads."
I like the interface. I prefer the "Old Style" skin. The toolbar buttons are not so Fisher Price. (They are professionally done, but they are not my style. I use the Windows 2000 theme on XP.)
I dislike the banner. It only advertises the company's services but it is still an ad. I dislike the ad in Adobe Acrobat Reader for the same reason. It's borderline adware in my book.
It does not support streaming protocols (mms or rtsp). This is a major mark against the program. I do appreciate the work the programmers have put into this program, but this is a relatively important feature to omit. by: Guy | 3 | 2006-07-01 |

"Must Have"
I have a connection speed of only 21.6 Kbps and I just downloaded a program after this one that's over 93 MB, as you can imagine it took a long time at multiple connections. This program is a must have if you have a slow connection like me. I'm sure those persons with cable or DSL, would still appreciate this. Thanks a lot to the developers. I have to go along though will the other reviewers, I wish you can use it with Mozilla, but again like others say, "It's Free" by: Arthur | 5 | 2006-05-14 |

"Works fine"
This 2.0 beta of Free Download Manager works like a charm for me. It's stable and does what it advertises. However, I noticed that it takes a couple of extra seconds to start each download. That's something that didn't happen in the 1.9+ releases. So, I"m guessing that this beta still needs to be optimized in some ways. That's the only thing that prevented me from giving this beta of FDM a full five stars. by: CharlieOrlando | 4 | 2006-03-29 |
