Actually expected a lot more from Google. Just a few more steps and it would be as good as Firefox 2.x.
With Firefox 3.x being bloatware, I was hoping Google would give us an alternative.
For those of you worried about being tracked, I would suggest you unplug your computer, permanently.

I thought I'd give this a try and I'm keeping it and good bye firefox, this is very quick not much to look at but who looks at the layout you look at the web page , there's only one thing if you could see your bookmarks list on the left like firefox for quick access im not sure if this can be done only just downloaded it,i recommend anyone to try this if you want a quick browser.

-size is huge 57Mb
-slower/clumsy compare to ff
-it hangs when I clicked forward&back
-no extension
-not user friendly

Thanks for the heads up to the last poster. I have downloaded the non-beta version and got it installed. I have to say it's the weirdest browser, nothing like standard browsers. However I personally really like the way it works. It's almost perfect but lacks addons, something I do like about Firefox. Not sure about how secure it is but will defiantly will use this along with FF. I feel that it won't be long before it surpasses FF. So far I have not had any lockups on certain websites like I do with FF. So Google Chrome is heading in the right direction. I am really pleased with the user interface, totally simple and easy to use. It's not like any normal browser, but once you learn the thing you'll love it.

No print preview, can't use any Google products on/in it and a worthless feature called Create application shortcuts. Most users I know are trying to eliminate garbage off the desktop and put more on. Maybe Google is trying to market to the retards out there.
