This program is ok, but it gave me a couple of coasters on occasion. Granted, it is free. All in all, I like Ashampoo Burning Studio the best.

Since its .net implementation it is not that good anymore.
Infrarecorder on the other hand is portable and light on system resource demands and can do the same things in better way. ImgBurn is also a good option.

I have read some of the other reviews and I think these people should learn how to properly use a computer before actually installing software and then writing a review.
With that said, I have been using this software since version 3 and it works great. No viruses or spyware are present, it is a clean program. Very useful and I will continue to use it.

From the day it started to rely on M$ .Hate, it is sucking!
Infrarecorder is way better. For complex jobs Nero or NTi is better.

"Better than I expected"
For a while I was put off from using CDBurnerXP Pro because of some of the other reviews I read.But I have got to say that having tried it, It does everything that I want a CD/DVD burner to do,and unlike Roxio or Nero, I don't have to disable my firewall or antivirus before I use it.
