I've been using this masterpiece of a software- AIMP Classic, and I must confess that it is the best stereo Audio player around. It's very low on system resources and has the best equalizer band around. This makes its sound quality SUPERB. Its audio converter is very powerful and smart.

- better sound
- incredible fast speed
- small system footprint
- totally handy usage
- brilliant media library system
- cooler skins
- free tools for ripping and converting
What you have then is called AIMP2!

Using AIMP2 + Kmplayer. Had no problems EVER!!! And don't be so stupid. AIMP2 - HAS an english interface at start ( if you install it correct ), it HAS a portable version ( again: search while installing it ) and finally it played ALL my MP3's for 2 years and does it today ( may be you have some "MP3-Made by Big Bob in his basement" encoder )! LOL guys. 5!!!

I recommend sticking to version 2.11 until final 2.5 comes out. Because the RC3 version has still bugs. For example, when I double-click an audio file, AIMP opens but does nothing then, that is to say the file does not appear in the playlist and is not played. Only when AIMP is already open, then it works with the double-click. But on fresh start of AIMP, no.

"It gets better and better"
Since I switched from Winamp to AIMP2, I have a much better music listening experience. The developers seem to know exactly what users want. It gets better with each version. Winamp can't keep up with this.

"Nice Program"
This is a very nicely done piece of software that works great. The only feature I wish that would be changed is the size. It is sooooooooooo small like winamp. It is difficult to use the very small buttons and to see many of the titles on the balloon tips.
But the performance is SUPER.
And it also needs more English help on the website.
