Slowly by surely improving, FreeCommander is, in my opinion, the best freeware file manager (xplorer2 lite and so on) and even surpasses some sharewares like TC.

"Two suggestions"
I really like FC. There are just two suggestions. First, I miss the "My computer" like tree view with drives and My Documents - the current folder view in FC is limited by showing only content of the drive selected. Second, the MD5 file download verification does nothing to protect users from someone who hacks the program site - they may then install their own MD5 code. This download needs to be verified by PGP signature file.

"Close, but not quite yet."
I can tell you this: FC is great... almost. I'm using it on daily basis for a year or so and i like it more than TotalCommander, but the lack of FTP explorer is a pain in the ass. Some of my friends still persist on using TC just because of it. In my opinion it's something that should be 'fixed' in the future and FC will be superlitious.

Hello,
I'm a new user of freeCommander and it seem be a great programm, but I think it could be better if it could be connect to an FTP to upload and download files...
I'm not sure if it is possible now, but that is the best improvement I can see...
