It works ok but totally screwed up Internet Explorer to the point it couldnt find anything and was unusable, had to use sys recovery to fix it all back-wouldnt recommend this at all!!!! by: BigED | 2 | 2007-11-17 | | | | "As good as CCleaner - or better!"
I was used to CCleaner for a long time. However, this little piece of software seems to be a good successor. It has loads of powerful features and is very user-friendly. There's only one thing that is annoying: It uses somewhat of a special graphical look, that is to say it pops up in a small window that you cannot maximize. Would be much better if it'd use the whole screen space. Would give more overview. by: Sir Arthur Paininthe | 5 | 2007-11-16 | | | | "Outstanding kit"
Picked up loads of stuff that other 'good' programmes missed. by: Pantopete | 5 | 2007-10-26 | | | | "works"
This program works GREAT!!! by: | 5 | 2007-10-21 | | | | "Use with caution!"
Glary Utilities 2.3.1.92 works as advertised. As with any tweaking tools, cleaners, optimizers, etc. that access the HDD, Registry and web browser files, CAUTION is the necessary watch word! I'm running Glary Utilities 2.3.1.92 under XP Pro. Although the program does create a Restore point (sort of!) in the Registry file, I did a trial Restore and several classes of files were NOT restored. I can't say for sure because I haven't looked at my Restore points created calender in several days, but it APPEARS that Glary Utilities 2.3.1.92 deleted all the Restore points prior to the current date??? Also, be very careful with your delete selections for your web browser; the browser files (URL's, history, cookies, etc.) are often NOT repairable once deleted! As the Gipper (Ronald Reagan) always said "Trust but verify"! by: farpointstation | 4 | 2007-10-12 | | | | "v- 2.3.1.92"
On 2kpro...I like everything about this program-- kinda reminds me of Tune-Up Utilities-- However , I get the same problem as with previous release; that is , its Process Manager triggers 8+ thread injection notices and even if allowed, I get endless cascade of Window's protected file intrusion alerts. So, I just don't use it. After setting all the options for each of its modules , I make a shortcut to desktop of its One Click reviewable results scanner. by: mweizor | 4 | 2007-10-10 | | | | ""
Very nice utility. A must have. by: saintsfan | 5 | 2007-10-08 | | | | "The best tool I´ve ever used"
Really very complete and useful tool. I've uninstall two or three separate tools that I used until I began to use this one. Thanks! by: Andres | 5 | 2007-10-05 | | | | "v- 2.2.1.63"
On 2kpro, I found one of its applications, Process Manager, to be wholely unstable; the worst of its imbalanced manifestations being the total lock/freeze of my pc. This is unfortunate, since it's largely a neat package and I, in the near term , had no problems with any of its other applications. Perhaps this is a perculiarity, clashing with another of my programs; perhaps not. Regardless, for me, it's unacceptable. by: mweizor | 1 | 2007-08-08 | | | | "User-friendly. Useful utilites for beginner and intermediate PC users."
A useful software to tidy up the PC so that it could run faster and less error. A good software for beginner, as it very user-friendly. It comes with a Process Manager and many other useful tools. by: patrick khoo | 5 | 2007-08-08 | | | |
