"100% Compatible with Vista"

Our beloved freeware site has failed to mention this product is fully compatible with Windows Vista (per the author's website). If you have used the defrag utility in Vista, you know that it is the worst Microsoft has ever released. A true embarrassment.

This application is absolutely essential defragging your Vista PC. A+ all the way.

"No Good Program!"

Totally made 40 computer's system faulty.

It wont really defrag the disk but rather somewhat like a light consolidation of it. Very crippled and can make the system erroneous.

Try to check with window native defragmenter after defraging with this, youll see.

"Great Software"

I have tested this software on most of my clients computers as well as my 4 at home. This software is much faster that Windows and does a very good job, and it is free.

"v- 1.1.4.217"

Auslogics Disk Defrag Version History

Version 1.1.4.217

- fixed a few problems in a program

Version 1.1.4.215

- improves the application's memory usage
- fixes and improves shared modules
- fixes a few problems in language resources

It's decent and fast .. I have several defraggers I utilize some more than others for their particular parameter approaches and to "iron out" some file snags. I use my present and very good Win2000 defragger as my mainstay; JKdefragger to "shake thing up (and out)" ; and sometimes Iobit (current beta 3) for similar reason though it does have its quirks. Diskeeper and O&O, for all their analyzing time, doesn't seem worth the relative wait or results.
