"OK...."
If this is such a resource sucker, best to stick with 1.4,eh? Would that be a resource hog using tea timer etc too ?I use Eset smart security 3.055 and it seems to block all those infections usually picked up/detected by spybot,
like NIS Media extension,Showbehind,Spystorm etc. by: The Vermin8tor | 2 | 2007-12-17 |

"1.4 is better"
Just like a few of the other reviews, I agree that 1.4 is WAY better. Version 1.5 takes 10 minutes to load on my Pentium 2 400MHz PC that just had XP Pro installed 2 weeks ago. When it's loading, my CPU is at 100%. When it's finally loaded, it takes 10 minutes to immunize. The scan process is very slow. Version 1.4 loads within 10 seconds and runs very fast on the same PC. by: JesusSaves! | 3 | 2007-12-07 |

"Not the best version"
Stick with v1.4 much better, the advanced mode sucks shows a few legitimate programs up on startup as malware and Teatimer a real nag. by: Jonnyx | 3 | 2007-12-01 |

"v-1.4"
I haven't tried the "stable" (or any) version 1.5 yet and as others have suggested the 1.4, I got the final release of that version from Filehippo.com
On my 2kpro its BHO or startup change alerter popup has the allow/block area erased, unreadable which makes perhaps its best feature rendered useless-- clicking around in that area (blindly) just eventually triggers a blocking of whatever the action is. Upon full scan, if one has a lot of HOSTS ad-redirects (I have about 63,00), prepare for a long wait, as it tic, tic, tics through them. Upon uninstall, it will leave a folder of 7.5mb in program list and a log folder in Doc.& Settings>All users> Application File. So, if 1.4 is "better", ...(?). Anyway, I'll try the current non-beta another time. by: mweizor | 2 | 2007-11-17 |

"Is this a Joke?"
Halloween Edition? It has so many bugs should be called "Creepy Crawler" edition-last stable version is 1.4 but I still use 1.3 as it is the best, these new versions of 5 take 30-50 seconds to load and lock up upon update, using XP home. by: Rodger | 1 | 2007-10-09 |
