".Net Framework!!! Why?"
When I decided to try out this software after review it. One thing piss me away from installing is that I need to download and install .NetFramework during the setup before I can proceed the installation...Do I need to pay for .Net Framework in order for CDBurnerXP Pro to continue to function later after the installation?..

Good software! Enough for light usage. However, I prefer StarBurn and/or InfraRecorder. StarBurn is a nearly-Nero replacement and InfraRecorder is much more lightweighted.

Basic program simple interface,but the main thing is that it works.Advanced users will probably prefer Ashampoo burning studio,Cyberlinks Power2go or Nero 8 for rip and copy,but for the light user this programs o.k.

Nero (6) would reboot my computer, and fail on another with different DVD writer. CD Burner XP worked the first time without problems on my data DVD!

Nice. They fixed a 100% CPU usage bug. Now, it takes 10-20% of CPU on my PC. Everything else looks good.

I've had v 3 for a long time and it is great. I agree with the last reviewer, why buy it when these nice folks will give it to you. Allow I have an Gateway (2001) it does a great job and I thank you for it.

4.0.015.277 is latest version. This version has trojan inside!
However version seemed to work without any problem. Go to author's site for latest version
