i just notice in microsoft website that there's white version of wmp11 on vista... i wonder why theres no such thing here... but actually its very good compared to 10th. sometimes media information is busy. so solution is to re input all the files in library.

the new wma formats (e.g wma 9.2) have worse sound quality than previous wma formats (e.g wma 9.1).i noticed it especially hear them using srs wow effect.it is because winodws media player 11 still in beta version? i hope those who know why please tell me why

The buffering feature makes videos hardly viewable, and it doesn't have good quality at all. I'm not one of those anti-microsoft protestors (though I do strongly disagree with their monopolizing ways), but I have to say that this is not the best media player, by any means. A lot to improve (not just quality of playing media, but the GUI as well, I'd love for someone to say that the GUI has anything to do with Windows XP).

Honestly, I don't see why anyone wouldn't like this program. I've tried every other media-players out there and have yet to find one that is any better than WMP. It's free, customizeable, burns CD's, plays videos and DVD's. It's stable (unless you're trying to do something weird). I think alot of people give it a bad rap just because it's from Microsoft. One thing I really like is that if you want to purchase music, you can do so with *several* different vendors, instead of just one like iTunes or Musicmatch. This allows you to shop around for the best pricing/availability. *shrugs* All in all, I think WMP10 is great.

It clearly states that it's only for Windows XP. How could you "find out" after downloading when the information is available prior to downloading and then you give it a low rating?
