I've been using the Spybot, and blaster for years now, but the writers of the malicious progs have had the years to also figure out how to bypass those two progs. I finally got infectd with 4 that bypassed them. They even evaded being caught by Ad-Aware! I knew I needed something new, so I just tried the SpyWare Terminator. Was too tired to run my HijakThis, so needed something to help with my weariness. Wow!, again! I had already installed the clam v protector, but for some reason had been running comodo. When I was installing the Terminator, it asked if I wanted to incorporate the clam into it, so I chose to do that, and shut down the comodo. The comodo had missed these 4 malicious progs, and I had thought I was fried this time, because I had a hard time getting my puter to boot past my bios. I was freaked this time, but once I tweeked the bios and got a successful but sad boot, I installed and ran the SpyWare Terminator with the clam, in a deep scan, and it did the trick! Three cheers for the Terminator! I was able to run a smooth boot after, and it's now running in my tray, together, with the Clam. I feel much more protected. Thanks for a fresh, new program that works!

with often updates and free and real time protection included for free makes this a solid choice. the clamwin antivirus option is a nice bonus feature also

This is my first time doing a review on a software; I couldn't pass up the chance with spyware terminator. It does all that it says it will do. I think that it is the best spyware program out there. I had been using spybot search and destroy; Everytime I used it, I always found unwanted spyware on my computer. I've been using spyware terminator for about a month now; Since I've been using it, I haven't found any spyware when I run spybot search and destroy.

i donloaded this and was petrifed to find that Spyware Terminator had found 92! infections (3 Critical) and zone alarm=0! This is by far the best spyware program i have seen for a while.

I installed this program several months ago and have been impressed ever since. I set it for automatic cleaning and it just does what it is supposed to do. I agree with the previous post however, " The only gripe I have is that it doesn't remember to ignore items previously marked for it to ignore." Once this quirk is fixed I'll be Happy!

"Tops of the free ones"
I've been useing this for a few months now and it seems to do a good job. I like that it has real time protection and also HIPS. It does a better job than Windows Defender which it replaced and has a faster scan.The only gripe I have is that it doesn't remember to ignore items previously marked for it to ignore, it edetects them on the next scan. They're mostly cookies so its no big deal.
