"GameMaker-You can't go wrong" by: Balding Chimp Other Thoughts: If you want to make almost any type of game with as little effort as posible (learning languages, etc.) you have to give this one a spin! What I did in a month would have taken far more time the old way. As with anything, it depends on how much "effort" you want to put into a game, but the ease of use and time it takes to learn how to use it... a novice will be making games in no time. "Wow!" by: JB Other Thoughts: This program is for everyone interested in creating their own 2D and 3D PC games. Easy to learn, difficult to master, it's a great tool to work with. Have made some small games during this past week - great fun. If you have any interest in game development, you could do much worse than downloading this. Can't believe it's free...get it!
