My piano teacher couldn't believe how much I had progressed in just one week with learning how to read the music sheet. Very good. It does exactly what it says, it's for the beginner, and it does speed the learning curve!

Nice freeware that does exactly what is needed - it doesn't do the learning, you still have to learn yourself :-)
Highly recommended (I am an adult beginner).
Spare yourself trying "Happy notes" that is advertised as freeware but limits the notes to 5 notes, does not have uninstall facility, and create some automatic links to stuff you don't want. Happy notes may be more suitable for small kids provided you buy a full version.

"Really good starter"
I downloaded this for my 11 year old daughter, and within a few days she knew all the notes on the piano, without hesitation. Really good for geginners!
