I feel sorry for Mike Singer. When he was able to use the Weather Channel's data and provide it free in Weather Watcher he had a great program. Alas, WeatherBug isn't the Weather Channel and Weather Watcher isn't what it used to be.

Beware, even though I was very careful to tell the install program NOT to install ask.com's toolbar (both checkboxes), it did anyway.
When I complained to the author, he blamed ME!
I uninstalled it, and will never use his software, or ASK.COM's search engine, again.

Susan, this is a an excellent program, however, if for some reason you need to uninstall it, as well as any other program, pick up a copy of Revo Uninstaller. This free jewel will get rid of just about anything you want uninstalled and it even cleans up the registry keys, icons, folder, and just about anything else associated with the uninstalled program.

I tried this program and several other including weather pulse.
I think weather watcher is better, because it can show me a lift of hourly forecast up to the next day.
You can choose to download the version without adware.

I have used this for 3 to four years now and enjoy it. This is not a gadget so try it and you might like it. :))
I did try the beta version of this in 6.0.0 and it needs some work on it but once the bugs are fixed it should be a great one to download.

"Weather Watcher Fills A Need"
This is one of those programs that has received a low rating because it's being compared to something it is not. This is not a "gadget" weather programs. It's focus is to provide basic weather info from an icon in the icon tray. Weather Watcher has been around for a long time and works well.

"Lock-Up on Installation"
On my XPPro system, the installation proceeds to "registering files" and then locks up. I later downloaded it from different sources and received the same results. I've never had this problem installing any other program, so this one is definitely a no-go for me.

I downloaded weather watcher as we were expecting rough weather, but not a tornado watch! I set the update for 1 minute increments and found a .wav file for the alerts. That night, after I went to bed, we had a tornado WARNING and the alarm in weather watcher was going off right as the wind was picking up. I love it!
-BTW, I previously tried other programs like weather pulse. I was not impressed. I don't like struggling through pop ups before a disaster strikes!
