Google Earth 6.2.0.5905 Beta
Pros: Pretty much the same as the last version. Cons: I don't think they EVER update their satellite photos. My house is showing a 10 year old photo. Other Thoughts: I've tried the stable release of version 6 and it operated fine
but this beta version, on my meager system, gives me a kaleidoscope-like effect with mufti-colored shards emanating from the earth image
Also, maybe of relevance, I installed this over an existing version 5
Even aside from this , maybe the Publisher's Description should have minimum requirements list; as well as, generally what's different/trying to test.

Other Thoughts: Satellite images of a ealthy place like Lausanne in Switzerland are from 1997, those of a modest city like Tours in France are from 2007 : looks like image data is fair enough :) - Concerning Google Earth as a whole, I'm sticking on previous version 4.3, this 5.0 is fabulous but not achieved IMHO

Other Thoughts: If the speed of it could be boosted up a little it would be perfect. The only other things I wish that i didnt have to wait a year for new pics. To bad the photograpy couldnt be updated more. The thing that would really make this program sweet is live video.
