"Better 'n better"
This has become a top solution for minimal resource usage and easy interface. It integrates ClamAV seamlessly. I even don't mind their toolbar and that's really saying something.! Rock solid under XP, Vista and Win7.

On one hand found some problems. On the other, when I selected few of them to delete, erased a lot of different stuff, including 5 - 7 freeware programs for dvd burning. Is it the main purposes of the program??

This antispyware program is okay but there is much better security software out there like, Comodo Internet Security, Avast Home Edition, & Spybot. They are all free!

This anti-spyware program is good but i liked the older version better. It didn't had so many pop-ups like the new version's interface. Yes, it does remove spyware/malaware witch Antivirus or other antispyware programs does not detect, but unfortunatelly this program can give sometimes some REALLY HUGE false detections. There were a few well-know majore programs i've used and it aways detected some of they're components as "Trojan" and everytime i've deleted the files with ST the programs ceased to function, the programs were not infected, but even so ST stil sayd they're infected with a trojan. Other than that this program is pretty much alright and does his job. Tough i prefer Spybot Search & Destroy.

Had a problem with windows explorer closing then restarting now and then using the computer. Download this program, ran a full scan which found threats not even my payed antivirus program with malware and spyware protection could find. Removed the threats now windows explorer is back in business, excellent.

re installed this again and ive found it works well. its quite light on the cpu and integrates better with my system. i find the shield much less intrusive now and the settings work properly. on previous version they would not store correctly, which made it impossible to live with. so far so good.

I just installed without the Guard or AV features...
Why is the download 8.1mb and the ensuimg spyware database update 8.7mb? (anyway, ultimately, installed size is 14.5mb)
Perhaps it's a tug-of-war with another of my applications upon system startup, but why does the Real-Time Shield take so long to initialize?
Beyond the initial database update, the ensuing update sizes are now proper. smaller in size (lower kb)
One can use the Immunize feature without installing the Guard feature
Its resource usage is very good as is its scanner speed and types and its Shield doesn't slow anything down (once initialized)

Hi I am a PC engineer whos used this software for some years. While installing Spyware Terminator the process will opt for the possibility of installing the Crawler Web Security Guard; suggest uncheck this option. Apart from that, its highly recommended. I install it on every PC that comes my way.

Along with Avast and Comodo firewall this is the protection my computer has. The big names and paid subscriptions did not perform, but these three are solid and give me the best protection I ever had.
