 | "Stunningly Overrated" It's amazing how overrated this program is. If it weren't freeware, it would be laughed out of the building.

 | "Useless" Works as advertised, but it's a real pain in the rear. All this program does is eat sys resources & give you a false sense of security.

 | "Win Patrols good...but beware..." Downloaded and installed v7.0 and found it good if you have the serial key, in that it helps lock your 'Hosts file'as well as alert you to what's been installed, cookies, and changes in yuor 'Hosts files',oh and your history.etc.Look inside at the start ups and you may see this:'WIN PATROL~bat.exe'- it is suggested as a possible trojan. But doesn't seem to effect your PC right away.I used 'Bit Defender FREEE' to scan my PC,and it told me I had a 'deep infection' which was at 'start/programs/access/start up' so I went there to scan it indvidually. No infection found.I ran 'Ewidi Micro scan', and woah!- 3 worms found from 'WIN PATROL~BAT.EXE' so I removed the infections which took Win Patrol off my PC.This may be attacked so you have no protection/lockdown for your 'HOST FILES'which can be messed with. So,download & install 'Hosts Blocker' or 'KHBlocker'.KHBlocker will stop you from getting many cracked serials, from say 'freeserials.com,coreserials',etc...

 | "good but not always needed" WinPatrol looks for changes in your programs. Thing is its normaly just updates your downloading for programs it detects unless you suspect a program of strange behavior this program really isn't a must have.
download it if your curious its safe and works but FileMap by BB does the same and more try it too if WinPatrol works for you me I say pass.

 | "East to used and low on system resources." I know alot about computers cause i being using them since i was 2.
So i desided to used this freeware cause it was free and if something went wrong i just do a system restore.
And I tried it... and it works really great, it protects programs want to run at startup or if something change from my compute with out my permission.
the only thing i dont like is i cant get information about programs and it does not tell you if is it a good or bad program...but hey thas why we have google....to get answers.

 | "Pretty package ......" Looks good runs smoothly ..... but if you REALLY think that it is "Protecting" your computer, you REALLY need to learn more about computer secutity! Simple as that.

 | "What use is this?" Scotty the dog? Who wrote this thing. Walt disney? The author got the audience age group right.
Alerts you to changes eh? Bit late isn't it? When it's already on your drive. I prefer to catch em just a bit sooner than that. This app is as useful as a chocolate oven. Like most of the security junk around. With "cool" interfaces of course. Musn't spoil our color schemes must we!
