Works great. There is a hesitation during the boot process so be patient. I was able to boot a win2000 machine and delete the SAM file to reset the unknown administrator's password so I could log on the used laptop I bought at the thrift store.
Handy to have on hand to work of NTFS files without booting the hard drive's OS.

"BSOD - Bad Pool Header -"
I had Bad Pool Header problem, I could not start Windows, hence could not run Chkdsk /f. This program started Chkdsk from floppy disk on Dos at boot and solved the problem. My special thanks to the author(s). Best Regards.

Just briliant,
Prompted by XP I attempted CHKDSK/f
On restart I got BSOD over and over telling me to deactivate antivirus. Yeh How??
Regardless of F6 and loading SATA driver XP install could not recognise my C:
This little bauty after download to other PC and creating bootable floppy and selecting NTFSins run chkdsk on all drives and done it all. After I confirm that this is for my private use completed the fix.
Restarted PC and viola XP loaded.
However Im aske now to verify that this HDD is certified by MS regardless that the XP is legit.

I stupidly deleted my NTDETECT and NTLDR from my XP laptop. This allowed me to recognise the NTFS drives from a bootable USB stick and sorted it out. Wicked!
