| "wtf is going on" so i formatted a thumb with this ntfs4dos 1.8 thumb was 2g made a partition of 176meg windows disk management isnt allowing me to kill the 176 partition trying to figure out how to get the rest of my thumb back please help me out

Prompted by XP I attempted CHKDSK/f
On restart I got BSOD over and over telling me to deactivate antivirus. Yeh How??
Regardless of F6 and loading SATA driver XP install could not recognise my C:
This little bauty after download to other PC and creating bootable floppy and selecting NTFSins run chkdsk on all drives and done it all. After I confirm that this is for my private use completed the fix.
Restarted PC and viola XP loaded.
However Im aske now to verify that this HDD is certified by MS regardless that the XP is legit.

| "Fixed my probs" I stupidly deleted my NTDETECT and NTLDR from my XP laptop. This allowed me to recognise the NTFS drives from a bootable USB stick and sorted it out. Wicked!

| "Did Not Work" Froze SCSI detection at bootup, had to remove SCSI card (used for a tape drive).
Did not work at all on Dell server w/IDE drive. Just a blinking cursor.

| "Nice program - saved me lots of trouble" Great program - used it to replace the hal and ntkrnl files from multicpu to single cpu when one of my cpus died and NT 4 refused to boot.
For those having trouble getting a valid drive, when you are asked the Yes/No question on program start up, you answer with just a 'Y', not the word yes.
