I did not personally test Comodo AV by downloading virus from P2P sites but test results show it works well & very light compared to most other heavy AV suites such as Norton ,AVG.

It really is not a good virus scanner. Avira Antivir is the best free antivirus software. Comodo just can't compete with that.

Comodo Internet Security Is Out Now!
I use it now since release, and it works really really good. It has firewall anti spyware antivirus malware protection for FREE. It even found a Virus where AVG and Avast didn't. not very good. im always careful with anything comodo do, and to be honest this dosent cut the mustard and needs a lot of work. for pro users i would say. if your not too sure or tech minded then avoid.

im afraid i spoke too soon with my reveiw and rated this highly. ive been using it for a few months now and can confirm with other recent reveiws that its kak and avoid it like the plauge. it simply missed virus after virus and only when my pc slowed to a crawl did i notice it. it nearly ruined my pc and i had to carry out some drastic action to restore it.i downloaded avast and so far its been excellent and found no fewer than 17 viruses that comodo completley missed. its simply crap and do not download it.

Even though its on beta stage, still its virus detection capability is very poor. Its a waste of time of trying it. Authors need big improvement for it.

beign beta version it has many errors. dosent detects virus. but it may take upperhand soon. it has a super feature called "HIPS". when you about run a exe file comodo will ask your permission wheather to execute or not. just download dont install. use Avast ....
