Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition 1.5.1
Pros: i've try it on my own computer 'n it works well, though sometimes when i test it with some new variant of virus infected my friend's PC it miss some, but good performance in scanning methods 'n nice interface. Cons: maybe need some improvements in it's virus database, considering it's cloud based, so it will easy to colaborate with other techie to solve a problems together. Other Thoughts: Beats all other anti-virus programs out there, whether free or paid for. Installation went through flawlessly, including uninstalling AVAST! and MS Essentials, let alone scanning my mirrored hard drives. Absolutely a must have innovative anti virus program everyone should have. I couldn't agree more with another reviewer: Kudos! to Panda! Other Thoughts: An excellent and innovative approach to all the crap out there. It downloaded and installed without a hitch or flaw. Scan of two clone, mirrored drives revealed malware/adware no other program I had pointed out, meaning AVG, AVAST! and even Norton, and the resource-eating is kept to an impressive minimum when compared to the competition. "You should probably look elsewhere..."

Other Thoughts: I tried this app for about two months. Like other reviewers have said, there is an overabundance of false-positives when scanning, so you never really know what's going to hurt you or what isn't unless you research what the program detects. Another problem I found with the program is the user interface - it is far too barebones and really doesn't give the user much control over the program at all. And lastly, but perhaps the biggest issue with Panda - it did not protect my system from being infected with malware that attempted to hijack my OS. Fortunately, MalwareBytes saved me from this attack.
So can I recommend Panda Cloud Antivirus? No, not really. It's a wonderful concept, but the program just isn't a contender.....yet.Was this review helpful? 45 out of 78 users found this review helpful.

"RAM +"

Other Thoughts: While it MAY be true that this uses less CPU it is also true that loves RAM in a big way. Not only does it like to eat RAM but strangely enough many other unrelated process quadrupled in their consumption of RAM.
In fact my PC was noticeably slower than usual. While running this programs that used to respond instantaneously now presented the old hourglass.
