 | "hmm.." If you have to encrypt your info, then it would be safer to carry your data around your neck.

 | "Very good program" DSCrypt isn't BETTER than Axcrypt,it's DIFFERENT!! DSCrypt only does files, won't do folders. Axcrypt does much more than DSCrypt. I use Axcrypt, BC Archive & TrueCrypt, if you can't find what you need amongst those three, then all is lost!

 | "Easy to use and it works!" I needed a small, fast and easy to use software to encrypt some personal files on my PC... Looked around, found AxCrypt, installed it and stared using it. No fuss, no noticable delays!

 | "" "It's a fine program;
I have used it. No problems in encryption. In fact, it's darn simple and straightforward. Just right-click a file/folder, select 'encrypt', enter a password, and it's done!
Right-click again, this time select 'decrypt' and it's decrypted.
There maybe 2 setbacks: 1) When you encrypt a folder, it takes a bit of time depending on the number of files, because it encrypts each and every file in the folder. 2)Th encrypted folder's icon remains normal yellow, and you can't tell if it's encrypted.

 | "failed" Appeared to encrypt fine; nice little lock and key icons. But the files opened readily.
